it's MERDEKA DAY today!! for those of you who don't know malay, merdeka = independence day. yesterday we decided to go for a countdown at ikano/the curve/ikea (that area) but there weren't fireworks this year! =/ but it was still fun anyway coz the guys were being lame with the malaysian flag and we got to celebrate andrew's birthday. (besides, it was extremely jammed in KL and hartamas so thank god we didn't go there.) isn't it nice to have a public holiday on your birthday EVERY SINGLE YEAR??? my birthday on the other hand always fell on an exam date.
